We continue working in adapting our spaces and protocols to offer you a workplace where you feel safe. We cannot eliminate uncertainty, but we can put all our efforts to minimize risks and learn how to behave in order to protect ourselves and those around us.

What are we doing?

Welcome Board

At the entrances of both coworking spaces we continuously map out the most important indications to follow in the spaces:

  • Disinfect your hands with HIDROALCOCOLIC GEL when entering the space, before and after using any common spaces (bathrooms, kitchen, etc.), after touching any common element or someone else, etc. How should we wash our hands? Click here.
  • You don’t need to use MASKS in your own workplace, but we recommend it when you’re not at your desk: in common areas, when moving through the space, etc. If you don’t have one, we offer it for free. How do we use masks? Click here.
  • You don’t need to use GLOVES while at your own workplace, but we do recommend it when you’re not at your desk. If you don’t have one, we offer them for free. How do we use gloves? Click here.
  • Keep 2 meters distance from others in common areas.
  • Please be cautious; it is about you, but also about other colleagues with whom we all share the space. Following the recommendations is caring about them.


We have temporarily reduced the capacity of the space and changed the layout of the tables in order to extend corridors, passage areas, distances between workplaces and avoiding members facing each other while seated. This is a temporary solution, while we continue studying the installation of screens or other prevention long-term measures .

We limit the mobility of Flex memberships to avoid sharing physical spaces. If you need a Flex membership instead of a Fixed one, contact us to study how can we arrange it.

As a novelty, we offer the “Concilia” Membership for those couples who live together and need to reconcile family with remote work. This membership allows you to rent a fixed position, share it with your partner (morning / afternoon or by days) and… to reconcile!

We enabled more Individual Private Offices for those who prefer more privacy.

Common Areas

We keep opened the essential common areas during the working day (kitchenette, coffee and water stations , etc.) but we have eliminated the expendable areas such as the relax area, sofas, etc. for safety reasons.

Use to common areas is ok for up to two members at the same time keeping a minimum distance of two meters. We have reduced the furniture and changed the layout of these areas to make it easier to adapt to this change.

We recommend you to avoid sharing office supplies, equipment, utensils, etc.

We temporarily restrict the use of meeting rooms and recommend using the courtyard for calls and with all precautions whenever possible.

Access 24/7

Our 24/7 fingerprint access system has been replaced by contactless access methods.

Access to space is limited to active coworking members only; any external visit must be attended outside of the space (including visits by former members), except for those scheduled in advance with the Front Desk.

Front Desk

The Front Desk service will not be regular, but whether or not we are physically at the spot, we are still available to you via phone or email from Monday to Friday from 9 to18h.

We work by appointment, so if you want to visit the space or restart your membership, write us and set a day and time that suits you well.

We continue to receive mail, but we will not receive packages ; we will provide you with the address of a collaborating company with whom we have made an agreement on receiving packages.

Location: Vortex Playa or Vortex Centro

We recommend you to choose a coworking space close to your place to avoid unnecessary commutes and public transport risks; also to make it easier for you to go back home to eat or rest (we remind you that the relax and social areas have been temporarily reduced or eliminated). In Valencia we have two coworking spaces with strategic locations: Vortex Coworking Playa in the Cabanyal neighborhood, just a few steps from the Marina; Vortex Coworking Centro in Calle Sorní, in the commercial and financial center of Valencia. If you live near the beach, Blasco Ibañez, Patacona, Malvarrosa, la Marina or the Port area, Vortex Playa is your indicated space and you can take a nice stroll avoiding public transport. If you live in the City of Sciences, Ruzafa, Carmen, Colón or Alameda, Vortex Centro is your indicated office.

If you have already been a member of one of the spaces, we now make it easier for you to change membership from one space to another so that you choose the one that is closer to you; let us know and we will send you the paperwork to do so.

Day 1

On your first day in the space, we will do a small introduction and we will resolve any questions or concerns you may have. We will take you to your new desk and give you your welcome #staysafe package with your mask, gloves and gel.

Cleaning and hygiene

We are reinforcing cleaning in the spaces, especially in the common areas.

We are studying optimal alternatives in our spaces to improve air conditioning and ventilation systems. Meanwhile, in Vortex Centro all our offices have large windows and balconies that facilitate natural ventilation; in Vortex Playa the windows will open on a regular basis.

We have removed the kitchen tools from kitchenettes. We propose that our members bring their own cup (or ask for us to for one), identify it (we have paints for it) and leave it at their desk at the end of the working day. We also advise cleaning dishes, tuppers and cutlery at home to avoid using shared cleaning products.

To facilitate access and cleaning of your desks, please keep them as clear as possible. There are individual lockers at the disposal of members so, whoever needs one , you have can rent one to store work materials, kitchen utensils etc. Welcome to the clean table policy.

Bottles of disinfectant gel as well as some packs of masks and gloves for those who have not been able to bring their own are available to all members in the Front Desk, please ask for it if you forgot at home.

Virtual Office

We keep our Virtual Office services as usual. All members who receive mail at our space will be able to continue to do so. As usual, once a week will contact them to facilitate the collection of mail.

Events or visits

All onsite events at the space, both professional and social, have been suspended or replaced by online events (or outdoors events when allowed) about which we will keep you informed every week through our communication channels and social media. We will include both our own events and third-party events that we find interesting, and thus we recommend.


If you feel the following symptoms: fever, shortness of breath, cough and/or headache, we recommend you to stay home as a precaution.
