Based on our experience, we know that surrounding yourself with other professionals helps overcome the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers, and professionals newly arrived in a city. <\/span><\/p>\n

What does Vortex mean?<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/span><\/h3>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″ css=”.vc_custom_1717149810260{padding-top: 60px !important;}”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Our name, Vortex, means ‘vortex’ in Latin. A vortex is a point in space that generates movement around it, much like the eye of a hurricane. And that\u2019s exactly what we want to be for our coworkers: the vortex of our community\u2014a point in space filled with energy, a place where things happen, a space of movement, positive ideas, and where everything comes to life. <\/span><\/p>\n

In January 2018, we opened our doors in Valencia with our first coworking space in El Cabanyal, near the sea and the Marina: Vortex Playa<\/a><\/strong>. Two years later, we launched our second coworking space in Valencia’s commercial and financial heart: Vortex Centro<\/a><\/strong>, on Calle Sorn\u00ed. The following year, in 2021, we expanded our services to include Accommodation <\/a><\/strong>through our partners, <\/span>And in 2022, we introduced Offsite and Corporate Retreat<\/a><\/strong> services. In 2024, we opened the doors of our third space: Vortex Ciencias<\/a> on Calle Peris Brell, near the City of Arts and Sciences, perfectly situated between the sea and the city center. <\/span><\/p>\n

Cristina Trilles Olaso | Fundadora & CEO<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Cristina is the Founder and CEO<\/strong>, the driving force behind the Vortex vision. Beyond guiding, supporting, and working closely with the team on a daily basis, she focuses on the future of the business: exploring new opportunities, defining the strategy, and leading growth. <\/span>Each Vortex location carries her personal touch: the surfboard at Vortex Playa, the piano at Vortex Centro, and her book collection at Vortex Ciencias. <\/span>An Industrial Engineer by trade, before launching Vortex, Cristina worked for major energy corporations and lived in several different countries. Prior to returning to Valencia, she dedicated a year to traveling and experiencing the coworking life firsthand in spaces all over the world. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/4″ css=”.vc_custom_1691417957096{padding-top: 20px !important;}”]

Andrea Monge Ortega | Operations Manager<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Andrea is our Operations Manager<\/strong><\/span>. She maintains a global vision of the smooth running of our coworking spaces in Valencia, including operational processes and overall management; she guides, supports, and supervises the daily work of our Vortex hosts, ensuring the best experience for our community. Andrea also leads the relationship with our partners and suppliers. <\/span>As a host, Andrea energizes our community, welcomes and integrates new members, and facilitates connections between our coworkers, building both professional and personal bonds among them. Aurora Urrea Garc\u00eda | Marketing Manager<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Aurora is our Marketing and Communication Manager<\/strong>. She prepares monthly reports, develops and oversees SEO and SEM strategies, and manages website maintenance and updates. She defines the communication guidelines that set the tone and style across all our channels, plans the brand\u2019s social media presence, and designs the Newsletter. Additionally, as a host, she welcomes new members, integrating them into the community and fostering a close, inclusive, and collaborative environment\u2014key to making people feel connected from day one. Aurora brings a strategic yet human perspective to how we communicate and relate, conveying the value of Vortex<\/strong> as a place to connect <\/strong>and build community.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
